Born in South Africa, Brecht Van Dam has emerged as a leading hairdresser in Brussels. His journey to success began in the humble surroundings of Genk, where he attended night school and discovered his passion for hair styling. Here he laid the foundation for his future career and developed the skills that would later set him apart. After completing his education, Brecht decided to broaden his horizons and went to work at Toni & Guy. Here Brecht learned the tricks of the trade and had the opportunity to work with some of the best hair stylists in the world.

With a wealth of knowledge and experience under his belt, Brecht decided to open his own salon in Belgium’s vibrant capital, Brussels. The establishment of the Brecht Van Dam Salon marked an important milestone in his career. Soon his salon attracted a diverse and international clientele, attracted by his unique vision and expertise.

Brecht is known not only for his craftsmanship, but also for his commitment to sustainable beauty. Brecht believes that beauty and sustainability should go hand in hand and inspires his clients and colleagues to make conscious choices.
